Standard Programme
orff
The Orff approach remains a popular and interesting method to introduce music to young children especially in the west. What makes the lesson inclusive and interesting is it allows children to enjoy, create and participate in the music making process. Orff based instruments consists of soprano, alto and bass xylophones/metallophones and other unpitched instruments such as claves, shakers, castanets, sleigh bells etc. By the end of the programme, children will be able to perform, improvise and compose their own music in a group/class ensemble.
