Cajon

The Cajon, a box-shaped percussion instrument which originated from Peru. In this Cajon module, students will grasp the fundamentals of playing this instrument, covering Basic Percussion Theory, Playing Techniques, Rhythm Application & Exposure, Drum Fills, Rhythm & Groove Recall, and Song Playing. Each student will receive a Standard or Kids Sized Cajon for practice. By the module's end, students will confidently perform either solo or as part of an ensemble, ready to captivate audiences on stage.
